2001 October

In October, Yingde Gases Group was established in Zhuzhou, Hunan. In the same year, Yingde Gases commenced construction for its first air separation plant in Loudi, Hunan.

2003 May

In May, Hunan Yingde commenced operations of Yingde Gases’ first air separation unit which had a 16,300 Nm³/H capacity.

2004 June

In June, Yingde entered the Southern China district, whereby Zhuhai Yingde’s 16,300 Nm³/H air separation unit commenced operations to provide supporting services for Zhuhai Yueyufeng Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. In July, Yingde entered the Eastern China district, whereby Jiangsu Yingde’s 16,300 Nm³/H air separation unit commenced operations to provide supporting services for Jiangsu Shagang Group Huaigang Special Steel Co., Ltd., the steel sector of the Shagang Group.

2005 June

In June, Yingde entered the Northern China district, whereby Tianjin Yingde’s 20,000 Nm³/H air separation unit (Yingde Gases’ first 20,000 Nm³/H air separation unit) commenced operations to provide supporting services for Tianjin Pipe Corporation. In August, Yingde entered the Northwestern China district, whereby Shaanxi Yingde’s 25,000 Nm³/H air separation unit commenced operations to provide supporting services for Shaanxi Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd.

2006 June

In June, Hebei Yingde was established to provide supporting services to Hebei Jingye Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., the largest iron and steel enterprise in Shijiazhuang.

2007 April

In April, a 20,000 Nm³/H air separation unit commenced operations under Rizhao Yingde’s “Phase One” project to provide supporting services to Rizhao Steel Holding Group Co., Ltd., China’s youngest 10-million-ton iron and steel joint enterprise. In November, a 40,000 Nm³/H air separation unit (Yingde Gases’ fourth 40,000Nm³/H unit) commenced operations under Rizhao Yingde’s “Phase Two” project.

2008 September

In September, a 60,000 Nm³/H air separation unit (Yingde Gases’ first 60,000Nm³/H unit) commenced operations under Rizhao Yingde’s “Phase Three” project. On 5 November, a 52,000 Nm³/H air separation unit commenced operations--this was Yingde Gases’ first unit to provide supporting services for the coal chemical industry (Guizhou Tianfu Chemical Co., Ltd). On 19 November, Yingde Gases successfully established its first 500,000 Nm³/H (oxygen) plant.

2009 October

On 8 October, Yingde Gases was listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as Yingde Gases (HK02168).

2010 January

Yingde Gases, which successfully acquired four 60,000Nm³/H air separation units from Shenhua Baotou Coal Chemical Co., Ltd., established Baotou Yingde Gases Co., Ltd. and commenced operations in 2010. This move marked Yingde’s status as a global-standard gas company.

March

Yingde Gases Group became a constituent of the Hang Seng Composite Index.

September

Our first coal-to-Syngas production plant, Anyang Yingde Gases Co., Ltd. was established. Back then, it had a 156,000 Nm³/H Syngas production capacity (which has increased to 170,000 Nm³/H to date).

October

SAI issued its 2010 Annual Statistical Report which placed Yingde Gases first in the Chinese gas market with a combined on-site unit capacity of 1,550,000 Nm³/H (oxygen).

2011 April

Zhangjiagang Yingding Gases Co., Ltd. was established to provide supporting services to the Jiangsu Shagang Group.

May

On 1 May, Beijing Yingde Qingda Technology Co., Ltd. was established, marking our first partnership as an enterprise with a learning institution. In the same year, Yingde’s patented gasifier product, the “Tsinghua Gasification”, was put into operations. On 16 May, Yingde entered the Southwest Chinese market, establishing Neijiang Yingde Gases Co., Ltd. as its first subsidiary in the said region. On 26 May, Yingkou Yingde Gases Co., Ltd. was established to provide supporting services to Minmetals Yingkou Zhongban Co.,Ltd.

June

Our first special gases company, Zhangjiagang Yingdi Special Gases Co., Ltd. was established.

November

The company’s shares were listed on the MSCI China Index in November 2011.

December

Construction was commenced for Yingde Gases Group’s only engineering company (Zhejiang Zhihai Chemical Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd.) in the Linhang Industrial Zone, Deqing, Leidian Town, Deqing County, Huzhou, Zhejiang Province.

2012 January

On 4 January, construction was commenced for Yingde Gases Group’s only engineering company (Zhejiang Zhihai Chemical Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd.) in the Linhang Industrial Zone, Deqing, Leidian Town, Deqing County, Huzhou, Zhejiang Province.

2013 March

On 21 March, Yingde Gases’ production capacity exceeded 2,000,000 Nm³/H (oxygen).

2014 March

Based on our total year-end revenue as of 31 December 2013, the group’s remarkable progress made it China’s largest industrial gas supplier.

An intermediate handover ceremony was held for the air separation unit of the Yuheng Coal Chemical Project under China Coal Shaanxi, the first company to which Yingde Gases provided operation management services.

June

Jiujiang Sinopec Yingde Gases Co., Ltd. (joint venture) was established to support the Jiujiang branch of Sinopec.

2015 May

On 20 May, the 2015 SAI report found that Yingde Gases had a market share of 38.9%, making it the largest independent on-site industrial gas supplier in China at that point in time.

2016 November

On 25 November, Yingde Gases became among those eligible to buy and sell shares on the Hong Kong Stock Connect, based on the 25 November 2016 list of Hong Kong Stock Connect shares under the Shenzhen and Hong Kong stock market interconnection plan (Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect, or SZHK Stock Connect) launched by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

2017 April

The Pacific Alliance Group (PAG), which manages USD 35 billion worth of funds, completed the privatization process of Yingde Gases, becoming the largest shareholder and gaining control over the board of directors.

November

On 5 November, the first 60,000 Nm³/H air separation unit independently produced by Yingde Gases (in terms of technological design, design and manufacturing of main distillation equipment, complete set assembly, and start-to-end engineering management) officially started producing standard-compliant external supply oxygen, nitrogen and argon products, achieving its designed capacity. On 10 November, Yingde Gases Group signed a strategic Industry-University-Research Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Xi'an Jiaotong University which involved the setup of an employment and practical training base while jointly preparing to establish the “Yingde Gases-Xi’an Jiaotong University Joint Research Institute” to promote the collaborative innovation efforts among the industry, universities and research institutions.

On 15 December, Zhejiang Zhihai Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Yingde Gases, was recognized as a Chinese high-tech enterprise. On 17 December, Yingde Gases Group organized a strategic seminar wherein they established a new corporate vision, mission and core values, marking the beginning of a new era in the development of Yingde Gases. Yangquan Coal Industry Chemical Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic partnership framework agreement with Yingde Gases Group which revolved around the all-round cooperation between both parties in the areas of the air separation asset transfer and gas supply outsourcing business under the Yangmei Chemical Group.

On 5 September, Yingde Gases Group moved its headquarters to Waigaoqiao, Pudong New Area, Shanghai. From then on, it would continue to explore and develop new opportunities, create greater value for customers, shareholders and society, and make greater contributions to the Chinese industry. On 20 September, Sinopec Guangzhou (Luoyang) Engineering Co., Ltd. signed a strategic partnership framework agreement with Yingde Gases Group, whereby both parties would both hold regular exchanges and meetings on overseas projects and the comprehensive utilization of LNG energy.

The brand-new Wanteng Cryogenic Liquid Tanker Operations and Maintenance Center officially commenced operations. The large integrated information display screen and ERP system enables dispatchers to instantly ascertain the customers’ storage tank levels and delivery vehicle status, thereby ensuring the timely optimization of the vehicle loading process and delivery route.

2019 May

The “Yingde Gases-Xi’an Jiaotong University Joint Research Institute” was officially established, setting the main direction for technical research and development as well as talent development.

On 14 June, the China Construction Bank and Yingde Gases successfully organized a Strategic Partnership Agreement Signing Ceremony-cum-Launching Ceremony of Yingde Gases’ Financial Shared Services Center which took place in the Group’s headquarters.

The bulk gas supply station for CanSemi Technology Inc. officially commenced operations.

Once again signed an agreement with Rizhao Iron and Steel, will build a new set of 60,000 air minutes, Rizhao Iron and Steel Phase III project for oxygen, nitrogen demand.

Once again, we signed an agreement with Hubei Jinshenglan Metallurgical Technology Co., Ltd. to build a new 60,000 air separation unit to meet the new gas demand of customers due to capacity expansion.

As of September 29th, Jingmen Yingde 'Tsinghua Furnace' has been running continuously, stably and under high load for 159 days, and it is still running stably. Among them, the single burner runs continuously for 159 days, setting a new record for the continuous operation of domestic cold-wall coal-water slurry gasifier with single nozzle.

Signed a contract with Guangxi Taijia Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. to invest, build and operate a set of bulk gas facilities including a 15,000 nm/h nitrogen generator. This is the first time to supply ultra-pure bulk gas to customers in the display panel industry.

We changed our company name from Yingde Gases Group to AirPower Technologies, Ltd. We signed a strategic accord with China United Gas Turbine Technology, Ltd., State Power Investment Corporation, Ltd., and the Jingmen High-Tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee to supply green hydrogen for the Gas Turbine Combustion Hydrogen Enrichment Pilot Project.

We signed an agreement with China Energy Investment Corporation (China Energy) and another engineering firm to jointly build green hydrogen production facilities in the city of Baotou, Inner Mongolia.

Yingde Gases took part in the world's very first Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine Hydrogen Enrichment Pilot Project. State Power Investment's green power plant in Jingmen achieved 15% hydrogen enrichment during combustion while running the turbines, successfully transitioning from the pilot phase to commercial launch.
